In 1983 Tracy joined the family business. Over the years she worked in various areas to learn the operation. In 1993 she took the position of Store Manager and later General Manager. As Don & Barbara move into their retirement, Tracy, along with her strong team of managers will continue to keep the market community oriented and involved.
Michael joined the Clements’ team as Store Manager in the spring of 2013. Michael brings with him many years of experience in the grocery industry. He started as a cashier at Shaw’s while in high school and quickly worked his way up their organization; serving in many different management roles. Michael enjoys spending time with his family and being an active member of the community. He also works hard to minimize our industry’s impact on the environment; working on initiatives to achieve zero waste stores and successfully divert 90% of their trash. Michael’s experience and enthusiasm for the industry make him a wonderful addition to our team, be sure to stop by and say hello.

Stephen Blakely has been a member of the Clements’ Market team as an assistant manager of the Bake Shop for almost 4 years. In November 2012, he was promoted to our Bake Shop Manager. Steve is very creative and places his emphasis on quality and freshness. Steve is always looking for something new and exciting to entice our customers with, so they will shop his department. He leads a strong team who are just as committed to reaching his goals and enjoy working together to do it!
Human Resources Manager
Valerie Brando joined our team as Human Resources Coordinator in the fall of 2011. She holds a BS in Management and a minor in HR from Johnson & Wales University. She worked as an HR Generalist at APC from 2006-2008 prior to taking time off to raise her daughters. Having worked at Jamiel’s while in high school and college, as well as having worked part time in Clements’ Front End, Valerie has a wealth of retail experience. Valerie’s personality, knowledge, and skills make her the perfect fit for the market.
Retail Accounting Manager
Pam took over the Retail Accounting Department in 2000. She brought with her knowledge and experience from working in the industry for many years. We are very lucky to have Pam on our team to manage the day to day aspects of billing and reporting. She also is an important part of our advertising team.
Shane started as a member of our front end team 14 years ago, and through his dedication and adaptability, eventually worked his way up to become our Butcher's Block Manager. After many years working positions as a cashier, service desk clerk and more, Shane started a full-time position in our Butcher's Block after finishing school. This eventually lead him develop his craft and to become the Assistant Manager of the department. After a number of years in that role, Shane became the Manager of our Butcher's Block team. Shane and his team take great pride in an old fashioned attention to detail-- hand cutting the finest steaks, freshly grinding hamburger and learning all the best preparation techniques. Scott joined our team as the Grocery Manager in the spring of 2006. Scott has been in the grocery industry since 1986 having been a grocery manager and dairy/frozen foods manager in a different supermarket chain. He also had a stint as a store manager at Walgreens. With him, Scott brings a wealth of knowledge of the grocery business, the best in customer service, and great ideas to meet all of our customers’ needs. Need an item and don’t see it on our shelves? Program & Network Manager
Nichole has been with the market since 1997 when she started in our Deli/Bakery department in our original store. She then took over the management position in our Network & Program department in 2000. She is a vital link to our daily operations through her maintenance of our register systems and program files. Anything that is remotely related to computers has everything to do with Nichole and her team. She and her team truly are the “brains” of the operation.
Steve joined the market in 2006 as a member of our Grocery Department, and soon, he became our Assistant Grocery Manager. He started in the grocery business working for Grand Central Supermarkets and was a vendor for the Keebler Company. He is now the Specialty Foods Manager, taking over for long-time Manager, Jerry Bloom. Steve is a hard working individual, and we are confident he will have a smooth transition into his new department! Charlie joined the Clements’ Family in the summer of 2007 and since then he has worked all over the store. Everything from stocking shelves in grocery to slicing meat in the deli until he arrived at his current position in the Front End. Charlie became our Front End Manager in November of 2017 when long time manager, Sandra Jenks made the decision to step down. Charlie has had the benefit of learning from many members of our great management team throughout the years. He is one of our youngest managers but regardless of the situation, he is always looking to learn and better himself, the department and the store. If you are ever in need of answers, don't hesitate to stop by our service desk and Charlie will be there, ready to assist you!

Amy joined the Chef’s Corner in 2003 after many years of restaurant and catering experience. Shortly after, she became the assistant manager of the department, and recently she became our Cutting Board and Chef’s Corner co-manager, along with Sara Silva. Amy keeps our very busy café department running smoothly and always has new and exciting ideas for the department! She and her staff can help with any catering function and holiday dinner needs.

In January of 2005, Terri came on board to run our flower shop. Terri has many years of experience as a florist and ran a reputable florist shop on the island for many years. She is well known by her current and former customers for being creative and very easy to work with. Nothing is too challenging to her. When Terri became part of our team, she took her knowledge and experience and expanded an already strong department. Stop by the Flower Cart and see what’s blooming!

Sara joined our team back in 2000 as a part time member of our deli department. She next became the assistant manager and recently became our Cutting Board and Chef’s Corner co-manager, along with Amy Manchester. She has brought in fine quality products, including all natural deli meats and cheeses. Sara and her staff are always willing to help our customers.
