    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    -Demonstrating superior customer service for all customers
    - Managing the profit and loss (P&L) for their department
    - Managing inventory, ordering, merchandising and daily operations
    - Maintaining company safety and sanitation levels
    - Scheduling department staff members in the absence of the Department Manager
    - Evaluating department conditions and operations to determine strengths and areas for improvement
    - Supervising and training of department staff members
    - Exercising effective cost control

    *The Assistant Grocery/Natural Foods Manager will work a 40 hour work week, Monday – Sunday; includes one weekday and one weekend day off. One evening shift may be required. Schedules may vary occasionally due to holidays, promotions, etc.


    - Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to operate equipment
    - Ability to follow directions and communicate with staff and customers
    - Excellent customer service skills, ability to problem solve
    - Ability to multi-task, have excellent time management skills
