Clements' Marketplace seeks a part-time cake decorator for our location in Plymouth, Massachusetts and a full-time cake decorator for our location in Portsmouth, RI. Clements' is a family owned and operated business with three locations and ties to RI & MA since 1980. Duties & Responsibilities:

- Plan, design and create custom cakes as requested by customers.
- Conduct customer consultations to discuss and develop ideas for cakes.
- Bake and prepare everyday products for the department.
- Monitor the freshness of products and manage inventory.
- Follow proper cleaning, sanitation and food safety guidelines. Equipment will be utilized in a safe manner, in accordance with store policies and procedure. Maintaining proper organization of work spaces is also required.
- Work closely with other staff members to maintain the department goals.

This position may perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Must possess a high degree of creativity with the ability to conceptualize and execute complex cake ideas.
- Previous working experience in a bakery/cake decorating setting required.
- Highly motivated individual that can work in a fast paced retail environment.
- Ability to multi-task, have excellent time management and organizational skills.
